Malus x zumi 'Golden Hornet' is a small compact tree with an upright habit in its early years. Dark green, broadly oval leaves turn yellow in autumn. Large white flowers flushed pink followed by a large crop of bright yellow fruits maturing early in the autumn.
A seedling of M. toringo. Received the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit in 1949 and a first class certificate in 1961.
Crab Apples are self-fertile, and very useful as pollinators for a variety of fruit trees. Full sun or part shade lover, best grown in fertile, moist, deep, loamy soils. Requires minimal pruning in late winter or spring to remove damaged, diseased or misplaced growth.

The driver will not be able to wheel the delivery across any uneven surface such as grass, gravel or up or down steps and will not unload the items from the pallet or take the pallet away with them.
